Warranty, Care & Attention
LG Gemstones are highly durable. Sapphire and Ruby are only surpassed by Moissanite and Diamond on the mohs hardness scale. This means they are both fine for wearing every day. Emerald, however, requires a little care and attention. Although LG emerald has far less inclusions than mined emerald, its chemical and physical properties are exactly the same as its natural counterpart, and therefore under pressure an emerald can fracture. This doesn't mean that you cant wear it everyday, it just means that you need to take more care of your precious gemstone.
While we're confident that you will be completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a comprehensive life time manufacturing warranty for your peace of mind. In the unlikely event that a manufacturing fault occurs, we'll promptly repair or replace the item at no cost to you. Our goal is to ensure that you have a hassle-free shopping experience and receive the highest level of service. We understand how important it is to have your items repaired or replaced quickly, which is why we aim to complete any necessary repairs or replacements within 30 days. Our goal is to ensure that you can continue to enjoy your purchase with minimal disruption. Once your ring is returned to us, we will complete an inspection to understand the nature of the issue. If the problem is wear and tear we can offer to repair the item at a cost price for you.
To keep your gemstones and diamonds sparkling it is always recommended to remove your Jewellery before applying hand cream or sunscreen. To clean your jewellery put some warm water with a tiny amount of dish washing liquid into a bowl and gently swish around. If stubborn dirt has lodged behind the stones you can use a soft toothbrush to gently clean the setting and stones. A gold polishing cloth will also help to keep your item looking at its best.
White gold jewellery typically features a rhodium plating that gives it a bright, white appearance. Rhodium is a precious metal that is plated onto the surface of white gold to achieve this effect. However, it's important to note that this plating can wear off over time due to exposure to harsh chemicals, such as those found in perfumes and cleaning agents. To preserve the rhodium plating and maintain the shine of your white gold jewellery, it's recommended to avoid exposing it to such chemicals. Instead, gently clean your jewellery with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. We do offer a one hour rhodium plating service at our retail location at Botany Town Centre.
The claws holding your gemstone are important. A quick check every now and then to make sure they have not been damaged by knocks, or been caught on woolen jumpers etc, is a good way to ensure the stone setting security. We are always available to assist if you have an accident with your jewellery and need it to be repaired.
